Standard terms governing technical feasibility studies, equipment procurement, turnkey installation, and long-term warranties by Baswal Renewables Pvt. Ltd.
1. Agreement & Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer (hereinafter “Client”) and Baswal Renewables Pvt. Ltd., operating under the brand name Xtrawatt. By booking a solar consultation, approving a preliminary estimate, or executing a turnkey EPC contract, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.
2. Turnkey Engineering & Installation Scope
Xtrawatt provides end-to-end solar EPC services encompassing:
- Engineering & Design: Comprehensive 3D shadow analysis, structural weight calculations, and single-line electrical schematic (SLD) preparation.
- Tier-1 Equipment Supply: Certified DCR / ALMM Mono-PERC Bifacial solar panels, high-efficiency grid-tied or hybrid inverters, chemical earthing electrodes, and hot-dip galvanized mounting structures.
- Installation & Testing: Turnkey mechanical mounting, DC/AC distribution cabling, surge protection (SPD), and dedicated lightning arresters.
- Statutory DISCOM Synchronization: Complete liaisoning with state DISCOM for net-metering synchronization, bi-directional meter testing, and plant energization.
3. Government Subsidies (PM Surya Ghar / PM-KUSUM)
Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Central Government subsidies (up to ₹78,000 for residential 3 kW+ systems under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana) are credited directly into the Client’s Aadhaar-linked bank account by the Central Government / DISCOM.
Xtrawatt guarantees 100% compliant technical documentation, portal registration, and DISCOM inspection clearance. However, final disbursement timing is subject to DISCOM inspection scheduling and Ministry DBT release cycles.
4. Commercial Payment Milestones
Unless customized under an institutional RESCO/OPEX agreement, residential and commercial CAPEX projects follow our transparent milestone schedule:
- Milestone 1 (Booking & Survey): 10% advance upon site survey confirmation and preliminary CAD approval.
- Milestone 2 (Procurement & Dispatch): 70% upon factory dispatch of certified PV modules, inverter, and mounting structures with tracking documentation.
- Milestone 3 (Commissioning & Handover): 20% upon mechanical completion, joint DISCOM inspection filing, and system handover.
5. Equipment Warranties & Performance Guarantees
Xtrawatt solar plants are backed by robust, industry-leading warranties:
- 25-Year PV Module Linear Performance Warranty: Backed by Tier-1 manufacturers, guaranteeing at least 90% output at Year 10 and 80% output at Year 25.
- 5 to 10-Year Inverter Warranty: Standard manufacturer replacement/repair warranty for all power electronics.
- 5-Year Workmanship Warranty: Provided directly by Xtrawatt covering all civil mountings, cabling integrity, and DC distribution boxes.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure timely execution and safety, the Client agrees to:
- Provide unhindered, safe access to the rooftop, main distribution panel, and water connection for panel cleaning.
- Ensure the roof structure possesses adequate civil strength to bear structural ballast and module weight.
- Furnish accurate electricity bills, title deeds, and identity proofs required for DISCOM net-meter documentation.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this contract shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
